Following the Phase One activity "Personality Profile," where ambassadors learned what "color" their personality is, they spent last night's group time working on decorating their T-Shirts for the HOBY Olympics. While they were working, we pulled aside ambassador Vany of Liberal High School to ask her a few questions! When asked what she learned today, she told us:
"Sometimes I feel like others won't do things, and I'm really picky about how they get done, but I learned you have to trust others enough to be trusted."

We have just finished the Phase Two: Group Leadership introduction, and are beginning today's panel. Kara Belew of Wichita USD 259, Jolene Goodheart-Peterson of Wamego High School, Sara Shea of Manhattan Area Homeschoolers Network, and Allie Mason of Morris Hill Elementary are our panelists for this education panel. This panel gives the ambassadors an opportunity to ask question they may have about the different perspectives and approaches to education.

- Using denim jeans to make dog toys for the Humane Society
- Recording readings of children's books for Wesley Hospital Children's Wing
- Fleece blankets to donate to the family shelter
- Writing letters of thanks for soldiers and veterans
